About Rivers & Spires

Rivers & Spires is an award-winning festival with live music, interactive entertainment, activities for the kids and great food on every street corner held in historic downtown Clarksville, Tennessee. In short its a downtown outdoor festival that you can bring the kids to during the day, shop throughout the afternoon and come back at night to rock the night away with some awesome headliners!
Rivers & Spires Festival started in 2003 as a tribute to the returning soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault). Since then, it has continue to follow this heritage, with special tributes for the many soldiers from nearby Fort Campbell deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Past headliners of Rivers and Spires include Lee Greenwood, Diamond Rio and an appearance by Miss U.S.A Rachel Smith. In addition, the festival features special events every year specifically geared to kids of all ages - all free and open to the public.
We're not the only ones who think it's great. Last year's festival captured the prestigious International Festivals & Events Association's Gold Grand Pinnacle award and the State of Tennessee's Tourism Spotlight Award. The festival has also been recognized as among the "Top 100 event in North America" by the American Bus Association and "Top 20 Events in the Southeast" by the Southeast Tourism Society.
