"BONK" Game Show
Hilarious - Interactive - Customizable America's New LIVE Comedy Show
What do you get when you cross the fun and excitement of a live action TV Game Show, the challenge of a general knowledge test, and the craziness of a Three Stooges movie? It's BONK! - The Comedy Game Show based on the immutable certainty that while getting hit over the head isn't funny, watching other people get hit over the head is.

BONK is a visually stimulating, fast-paced, innovative game show on the cutting edge of entertainment. The fully computerized set and professional host will keep your audience rolling in the aisles.

Think of BONK as a comedy show, where a game is being played. This show is just as much fun to watch as it is to play! Unlike most game shows - this show isn't all about the money (though we give lots of that away too!), it's all about the FUNNY!

APSU students will rock the dance floor.

With guest Capital Lights and Run Kid Run
A lot can be said about these Tulsa boys. Faced with the task of rebuilding a name with a reputation of greatness, they have more than proved themselves in a year's time. After the release of the Revival of The Fittest EP featuring the single "Worth As Much As A Counterfeit Dollar" in February of 2007, the band's status was rocketed to the next level, surpassing expectations of fans and critics. Beginning to gain label attention the band stayed true to their calling gaining more and more fans along the way. As the popularity of their newly released EP increased, so did the bands name in the industry. Recruiting manager Jason Fowler, whose resume includes Pillar, Red, and Oklahoma natives Subseven, and joining Third Coast Artist Agency in early summer, the next level seemed within reach. In late December of 2007, the band signed with a Tooth & Nail Records and immediately entered the studio with producer Aaron Sprinkle ( The Almost, Acceptance, Anberlin). With so much change, the name afterEIGHT didn't seem to represent the band you see before you today, thus Capital Lights was born. 2007 was a big year for this group, but 2008 seems to be inevitably bigger. Looking to release their debut album in the summer of 2008, touring will be their staple. Capital Lights is definitely the band to lookout for in 2008.
Hailing from the state of Illinois, Run Kid Run is a 4 piece pop rock band with huge hooks, infectious melodies, and uplifting lyrics. Their debut full-length, "This Is Who We Are," was produced by James Paul Wisner (Dashboard Confessional, Further Seems Forever, New Found Glory). "This Is Who We Are" is about finding your true sense of self, and then holding on to that with all you have," says guitar player Neil Endicott. "We want people to have something they can listen to that makes them feel better about whatever is going on in their life." With a record that is guaranteed to make you sing along, don't pass up the chance to experience Run Kid Run for yourself. Look for "This is Who We Are" to hit stores May 16th on Tooth & Nail Records!
Everybody needs a friend. From the modern phenomenon of social networking websites like MySpace and Facebook to the classic comfort found alongside special schoolmates and work buddies, we're always looking for someone with whom we can laugh and cry. Since 2004, music lovers have enjoyed a real camaraderie with rising pop-rock band Hawk Nelson, helping the quartet sell nearly half a million albums, land personal appearances on major television and motion picture projects, and gain high-profile song placement ("Bring 'Em Out") with NBC's NFL Sunday Night Football campaign. Now the true bond of friendship between the group and others continues to strengthen, mature, and be more overtly celebrated than even before with the Canadian-originated act's third Tooth & Nail release, Hawk Nelson Is My Friend. "Going into this record, we sat down and thought about how we've always had this mentality of not so much winning fans as making friends," says born frontman Jason Dunn. "We want to be clear that we're all about being on the same level as the audience." "The album title is also what's printed across the front of our most popular tee shirt," adds quintessentially friendly Hawk Nelson bass player Daniel Biro. "And there's a little joke in there, because so many people still think 'Hawk Nelson' is some guy's name." To be fair, that mix-up happens a lot less these days. In fact, the band's good name helped recruit some cool new compadres for the recording of Hawk Nelson Is My Friend. For the first time, the guys worked with top producer David Bendeth (Elvis, Paramore, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus), tracking at his New Jersey studio. And in addition to writing with longtime friend Trevor McNevan from Thousand Foot Krutch, Dunn and Biro also met and wrote with Matthew Gerrard (High School Musical, Hannah Montana), Our Lady Peace lead singer Raine Maida (Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson), and '80s pop star-turned-hit songsmith Richard Marx ("Right Here Waiting," Keith Urban). Refreshingly, Hawk Nelson doesn't rest on its youthful success and had no problem reaching past the pop-punk core to create something uniquely enjoyable for its audience. "We don't want to be that band whose record sounds just like the last one," Biro explains. "It's great to work with people who have so much experience and can help us grow." In a raucously poetic sort of way, Hawk Nelson Is My Friend opens with first single "Friend Like That," a pounding rocker with fuzzy, spiraling guitars and fist-pumping Hey! Hey! Hey! Ramones-like shouts. Seeking heavenly guidance and earthly alliance at the same time, the song declares, I need somebody on the inside, somebody who can set me free . . . Make some noise if you feel this way. Anybody got a friend like that? Dunn explains, "So many people are struggling today. Most of all they need a friend, and we believe everyone has a friend in God." Deeper into the record, electrified new anthem and sure favorite "Arms Around Me" finds Hawk Nelson touching on social and spiritual issues of regret and forgiveness, thankful for the friends who are, Always near me, even when it's ugly. Like its loyal audience, Hawk Nelson shows clear signs of growth on new songs like "One Little Miracle." Co-written with Marx, the track captures a perfect pop moment that blends innovative playing, great melodies, and a strong belief: One little revolution could turn it all around, back to the kingdom we once knew; just a little bit of me and a little bit of you . . . one little miracle to get us through. "Not the Same" marks a clear step ahead in the band's artistry as well. Although Hawk Nelson's early punk influences (Green Day, Blink 182) are still evident, this richly textured song about the past represents a progression into mellower yet no less passionate musical territory that is matched by the lyrical declaration of we're onto something new. Essential to the all-around appeal of Hawk Nelson Is My Friend are the contributions of guitarist Jonathan Steingard and drummer Aaron Tosti. In talking about cuts like "One Little Miracle" and "Not the Same," Biro describes the remarkably dynamic and highly melodic and muscular guitar parts as being "so good I could cry." And it was Tosti who set the energetic tone for the entire record, laying his confident, seasoned rhythms down first alone in the studio when a time crunch required the rest of Hawk Nelson to stay out on tour with a fill-in stickman. For all of their adventures and successes thus far, the members of Hawk Nelson still see themselves as "four guys just trying to make it," says Dunn. "We'll always be working toward that, trying to write the best songs possible." Hawk Nelson Is My Friend most definitely lives up to that goal. Their friends will love it.

I started a music ministry in 2003 with the simple desire to reach people with the biblical message of Christ through music. Through prayer and seeking God's direction, God revealed that this was my calling, and that simple desire I had, quickly turned into a consuming fire! Consumed with a passion for ministry, it is very important to me that my passion for serving Christ shines through the life I lead and the words I speak. He has developed through this music ministry, an exciting new sound of contemporary/modern Christian rock fused with a classic/southern rock edge- revealing biblical truths and spiritual views of real life attitudes and circumstances, combined with simple praise and worship. I'm truly blessed that God chose me and enabled me to write lyrics and music to help expand His plan of reaching and witnessing to the hearts and souls of many! This is the day that the Lord has made, so lets rejoice and rock in it! - and stand in the faith of our Savior! In Christ's Love, Corey

Then throw in two deep, soulful covers of classic "rock" songs, "Black Dog/Whole Lotta Love" and "Whipping Post" and you have a truly fine recording. Mitchhart's original material is equally good and one can hear the varied influences of Stevie Wonder, B.B. King, and Delbert McClinton in his music. I really like his voice and the song arrangements as well. Definitely give this one a listen.
"...Later on a nu-metal-ish band called O.A.T.H. played on the big stage, and they successfully dial in that arena Ozzfest metal guitar tone to good effect. The song "The Fear" shows off the vocalists range, which is accented by punching high notes. At times they sound real melodic, kinda like a heavier Anberlin. Very hook-laden. Other times they sound dynamic, a la System Of A Down. They have the muscle and power of a big league metal band, and it's always good to hear that quality amidst a showcase of varying talented independent artists." HM Magazine Review
